Where is Luna Hearth based?
Luna Hearth is based in the beautiful Shetland Islands. The items are hand crafted in his workshop in Shetland and dispatched from Shetland.
Are the items hallmarked?
Yes, if the amount of metal in the jewellery/art pieces weighs more than 7.78 grams of silver, more than 1 gram of gold, or more than 0.5 grams platinum the items will be hallmarked. This is in accordance with UK Law. Luna Hearth meets the UK legal requirement regarding hallmarking.
Luna Hearth items are hallmarked at the Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office in London. Luna Hearth Jewellery sponsor’s mark is LH. The Luna Hearth hallmark shows the item’s authenticity, and indicates the purity of the metals used.
Hallmarking does add a little delay and increases costs slightly, however hallmarking is a legal requirement for most items. The Luna Hearth hallmark provides you with assurance that the item is made by Scott Shead t/a Lunahearth Jewellery and is of quality materials.

Are the Diamonds conflict free?
Luna Hearth do not knowingly buy conflict diamonds or sell items with conflict diamonds. Scott takes action to ensure to the best of his ability, that the diamond suppliers and their supply chain, actively take part in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme seeks to certify the legitimate origin of diamonds. The Kimberley process is supported by national and international legislation.
Scott can hand craft rings in any UK ring size; from A to Z + 2 including half sizes.

How Do I Place An Order?
You can place an order on this website using the Shop.
To order simply add the items to the shopping basket and go to the checkout. You can remove items from your basket at any time. By placing an order you agree that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Upon placing an order, you are under an obligation to pay. All orders are subject to acceptance by Luna Hearth. Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made using all major credit and debit cards, or by using a PayPal account.
What is the delivery cost?
UK delivery is FREE. Deliveries may require a signature, this ensures your item(s) arrives to you safely.
What is the dispatch time for my jewellery / artistic piece?
As Luna Hearth items are handmade, and often made to order, the dispatch times may be a little longer than ‘high street’ shops. Luna Hearth do however, try to ensure all items are dispatched quickly.
Scott usually dispatches orders within 30 working days (from order received and payment cleared). However for made to order and bespoke items dispatch may be longer than 30 days due to the time required to make the item. If dispatch is likely to be longer than the usual timeframe, Scott will give you an estimated dispatch time.
How do I cancel, return or get a refund for an item?
You have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the delivery company and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the item(s).
To cancel, you must inform Luna Hearth of your decision to cancel either by letter, e-mail or by using the cancellation form. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Please check your items on delivery. If you find any items are missing or damaged, please notified immediately in writing by post, email or by using our Returns/Refund Form. Luna Hearth will work to resolve this issue quickly.
Items are to be returned to Luna Hearth as soon as possible. Please retain and return items in the original packaging where possible. If you cannot return in the original packaging, please securely wrap the item(s). You must return the item(s), failure to do so is a breach of your statutory duty, and you may be charged recovery costs.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
No VAT is added as Scott Shead trading as Lunahearth Jewellery is not a VAT registered company.
